Jeremy has 5 years experience doing technical support services for customers, plus workshop/webinar training and internal IT support for MCAM Northwest, Inc. (an Authorized Mastercam Reseller).  He also serves as Director of Information Technology for a local non-profit organization.  His background is in PC based hardware & software, with several years experience supporting hardware/software for an Internet Service Provider

He really enjoys learning new features in the software.  He says, “You can use it for years and still learn something new every time you fire it up”.  And he finds helping others to complete a project or learn a part of the software satisfying.  “Knowing that what you teach might make a difference in someone’s career (which ultimately affects their life) is fulfilling.”

Technical FAQs

Q: Does this work well with a dial-up connection?
A: Yes, with the testing we have done. If the player gets ahead of the download, the system will just pause until it has downloaded enough material to play.
Q: Why can't I login to the website? I don't receive any indication that my login or password was entered incorrectly.
A: If you do receive an 'Invalid username/password' message then please try to enter your username/password again. If you have forgotten your password, use the 'Forgot Password?' link to retrieve your password.  Username and passwords are case sensitive.

If you do not receive an 'Invalid username/password' message and still can't login to the site then ensure that your web browser is configured with the following:

  • Cookies Enabled
  • Java Enabled
  • If you use pop-up blocker software try disabling this or add http://www.streamingteacher.com to the list of allowed sites
Q: Why do I get an access denied message when I try to load a video?
A: An access denied message indicates one of two things, you are either not currently logged into the website or your account does not currently have an active subscription to this courseware. There is a 30 minute inactivity timeout on this website, so please check the login panel on the left to make sure you are currently logged in. If you are logged in and still receive the access denied message, check your "My Account" page to ensure the courseware you are trying to access is listed under the 'Quick Launch' section.
Q: I'm having problems with the courseware when trying to view in Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) - how do I resolve this?
A: If you open IE8 and go into "Tools" on the tool bar and then "Compatibility View" and add Streamingteacher.com is should resolve most issues.
Q: I've logged into my subscription but get and "Access Denied" message when I try to view the videos?
A: Make sure that your session has not timed out.  If you are logged in and not active on the site for 30 minutes the system will log you out, try logging in again.  If the problem continues check to make sure that all of the Pop Up Blockers on your computer are turned off.
